  • Underweight: BMI is less than 18.5

  • Normal weight: BMI is 18.5 to 24.9

  • Overweight: BMI is 25 to 29.9

  • Obese: BMI is 30 or more

  • Acceptable for men 30+ : 12-21%

  • Acceptable for women 30+: 20-27%

  • Athletic men: 6-13%

  • Athletic women: 14-20%

  • Fit men: 14-17%

  • Fit women: 21-24%

What's your fitness level: beginner, intermediate or advanced? While one test cannot tell your whole story, it's a good place to start.

  • Perform maximum reps in 5 mins.

  • Beginner: gets less than 50 reps

  • Intermediate: gets 50 to 65 reps
